Richard J. Rosenberg, 81, of Mount Kisco, New York, passed away on November 25, 2023. He was born on March 7, 1942, in Brooklyn, New York. Richard was a warm, intelligent, humble, and caring individual. He was known for his kind and compassionate nature, always lending a helping hand to those in need. Richard had a passion for learning and was known for his sharp intellect. In his professional life, Richard had a successful career with Mass Mutual Insurance and Atlantic Benefits. He dedicated himself to his work and made a positive impact on those he served. Outside of work, Richard had a love for chess and golf. He enjoyed spending his free time strategizing on the chessboard and perfecting his golf swing at Salem Golf Club. These hobbies brought him joy and allowed him to connect with others who shared his interests. Richard is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Linda Rosenberg, his daughter Jillana Valente, his son-in-law Gary Valente, and his grandchildren Kendall and Trevor Valente. He was preceded in death by his son, Jonas Rosenberg. In memory of Richard's life, contributions can be made to the Tunnel for Towers, an organization that supports first responders and military veterans or St. Judes to support children with cancer. These are two charities that Richard supported for many years. Richard will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. His warm presence and caring nature will be remembered fondly by his family and friends.
