Dr. John Anthony D'Urso Obituary

John Anthony DUrso was born in Brooklyn, New York on November 6, 1931 to Grace and Joseph DUrso. More joy came to the family when he was followed by his little sister Camille. The family moved to Valley Stream, Long Island where he attended elementary and high school. McGill University in Montreal was his choice for university where he successfully attended undergraduate and medical school.

He and Nadia were married in 1957 and were blessed with five children: Steve, Michael, John, Neil, and Jennifer. Seven beloved grandchildren also followed. Dr. DUrso interned at Bellevue Hospital and Memorial Sloane Kettering Hospital; he practiced Obstetrics, Gynecology and Oncology in New York City and later in Mt. Kisco, NY.

He was loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
