Antonio Cambareri, age 91, of Mount Kisco passed away peacefully on January 23, 2022. He was born in Solano di Scilla, Reggio Calabria, Italy to Antonino Cambareri & Angela Oliveri on August 1, 1930. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather & great-grandfather. Having grown up as an only child, he greatly cherished his loved ones. He was known for making daily phone calls to his family and friends to check on them. He will be remembered for his charm, character and sense of style. At 91 years old, he remained independent and self-sufficient. He was an expert marksman who enjoyed hunting, landscaping, cooking and making wine. He was very strong-willed, physically fit and agile. He is survived by his beloved children Francesca (Rocco) Lofaro and Angela (Louis) Varamo, his adored grandchildren Joseph, Maria, Antonette & Frank Lofaro, Joanna (Carlos) Ruano and Donna & Joseph Varamo, his precious great-grandchildren Layla, Benjamin, Carlos & Nicholas, his sisters-in-law Girolama (Diego) & Francesca (Michele), brothers-in-law Antonio (Carmela), Carmelo (Vincenza) & Nick (Rosa) Cambareri and many nieces and nephews. Antonio was predeceased by his loving wife Maria, children Antonino & Angelina and brothers-in-law Michele and Diego. Services will be held at Cassidy-Flynn Funeral Home Inc., 288 East Main Street Mt. Kisco, NY 10549 on Sunday, January 30, 2022 at 2-4 pm for visitation. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, January 31, 2022 at St. Francis of Assisi Church 2 Green Street, Mt. Kisco 10549 at 10:00 am. The burial will be private. During this time of crisis, Cassidy-Flynn Funeral Home has taken extra precautions to minimize the risk of illness. The family also respectfully asks that everyone use extreme caution for the well-being of everyone present. Please refrain from physical contact during the services for everyone's safety and maintain social distancing.
