Murray R. Tulis Obituary

Tulis, Maurice (Murray) (91) a proud native New Yorker, died on July 28, 2014. Murray is survived by his wife Joyce of 65 years; his children Mark (Elaine), Michele (Jeff), and Dana (predeceased Eddie); and his grandchildren, Jonah, Ben (Claire), Rebecca, Elena, Jessie; his step-grandson Faron, and many adoring cousins. Murray grew up in Brooklyn, was a World War II Navy Veteran, and raised his family in Seaford and Manhasset Hills. Murray was a well-known, talented and respected interior designer at Tulis Fashion House Furniture at 2 Park Ave, NYC. He was a distinguished leader of the Bernstein Family Circle and Masonic communities. Murray was charming, full of life, loved to dance the night away, and cared deeply for his family. He always said his best times were the celebrations with his wife, children and their families. We will miss him dearly. Donations may be made in his name to the charity of your choice. Shiva
