McEntee, May, Mount Kisco, New York (formerly Muff, Kingscourt, County Cavan, Ireland) passed away peacefully on Friday, January 14th, 2022 at The Paramount at Somers. May, who died in her 92nd year, was born on May 1st, 1930 in Muff, Kingscourt, County Cavan. She attended Muff National School. She worked in Kingscourt and Dundalk before moving to Liverpool where she trained as a nurse in Walton Hospital. She relocated to Boston, where she continued her nursing career, before moving to Northern Westchester Hospital in Mount Kisco. It was here that she began nursing in The Critical Care Unit and Mount Kisco became her forever home. She was predeceased by her parents Mary and Jack, her sister Annie, brothers Thomas (who died in infancy), Patrick, Bernard, Matthew and James, her sister-in-law Margaret and her nephews Sean and Stephen. May will be sadly missed by her heartbroken brother Sean, sisters-in-law Eileen, Nora, Mary and Josie, her nieces, nephews and her many wonderful and devoted friends, especially Marie, Ollywn, Sylvia, Mary, Maud and John. May will be privately cremated and there will be a remembrance Mass in The Church of Saint Francis of Assisi, in Mount Kisco on Monday the 2nd of May. A funeral Mass with interment of ashes will take place in Kingscourt, Ireland at a later date. Death leaves a heartache no one can heal; Love leaves a memory no one can steal.
