Rose McKenna Nee Kelly, was born on September 30, 1923 in Boyle, County Roscommon, Ireland to Thomas and Mary Kelly. Rose was a dear sister to Ginnie Willoughby and the late Winifred Mohan, Lucy Higgins, Mary Concannon, Margaret Kelly, Deliah Clancy and Thomas Kelly. Rose was a devoted wife to Peter McKenna, who preceded her in September, 2010. She was also devoted mother to six children, Patrick McKenna, Catherine Kline. Peter McKenna, Maura Meyer, Claire Russo and Bernadette Erickson. Rose also leaves behind seventeen grandchildren, Corinne McKenna, Alex McKenna, Caitlin Kline, Peter Kline, Jeffrey Kline, Maggie McKenna, Timothy McKenna, Daniel Meyer, Andrew Meyer, Matthew Meyer, Catherine Meyer, Thomas Russo, Michael Russo, Christine Russo, Harry Erickson, Liam Erickson and Ailish Erickson. Rose was a congregant of Saint Francis of Assisi RC Church in Mount Kisco, NY and an active member of the Ladies Ancient Order of Hibernians, Div. 16 Mount Kisco, NY. The family will receive friends of Rose and the McKenna family on Sunday November 29th, 2020 from 4pm 8pm at Cassidy-Flynn Funeral Home, Mount Kisco, NY. A Funeral Mass will be held at Saint Francis of Assisi Church on November 30th at 10:00am followed by internment at Saint Francis Cemetery, Mount Kisco NY. In observance of New York State guidelines, we will be limiting visitors to no more than 33% of our maximum capacity; A distance of at least 6 ft. must be maintained amongst all individuals inside our funeral home and acceptable face coverings must be worn while inside.
