Carme Louis Terracciano Obituary

Carme Louis Terracciano, 86, was born January 2, 1929 on Lexington Avenue in Mount Kisco, to Alesio and Ellen (Fretella) Terracciano. Known to some as "Babs," he was the youngest brother in a family of 15. A lifelong resident of Mount Kisco, Carme leaves behind the love of his life, Kathleen (Wade) of 59 years, 4 daughters that he deeply cherished, Kathleen Bueti, Alison Mann, Carolyn Johnson and Nancy Ferguson. He was proud to call Pasquale Bueti and Gregory Johnson his son-in-laws. He treasured the time he spent with his 10 grandchildren, Erik & Carrie (Manthey) Johnson, Rocco Bueti, Justin Ferguson, David Mann, Thomas Bueti, Jessica Mann, Ashleigh Ferguson, Lindsay Giovio & Gabriel Keane. He felt blessed to live to see the birth of his 4 great-grandchildren, Dwayne Gregg, Victoria Gregg, Finn Ferguson and Luke Johnson. He also leaves behind a brother, Nick Terracciano (wife Ruth Terracciano), 2 sisters, Theresa Barnes and Marie Swarm and numerous nieces and nephews. A graduate of Mount Kisco High School, Carme was President and Owner of Penwood Construction Corp. People refer to him as a master builder who made families' dream homes come true, many of which can be seen all over Westchester. Carme proudly served his country in the United States Navy. He was a member of the Moses Taylor Jr. Post #136 American Legion and Volunteer Secretary and Firefighter for the Union Hook and Ladder Company. Carme thoroughly enjoyed good conversation, and sharing his life experiences. His passions included hunting, flying and traveling, which he did extensively with family and devoted friends. A wake will be held on Saturday, January 24 from 3 to 5pm and 7 to 9pm, and on Sunday, January 25 from 2 to 4pm and 7 to 9pm at Cassidy-Flynn Funeral Home in Mount Kisco. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00am on Monday, January 26 at St Francis of Assisi Church in Mount Kisco. Interment to follow at St. Francis Cemetery.
