Berkeley We offer our heartfelt condolences to his family and friends Albert Henry Berkeley born on November 12th 1934 in New York City, NY. The Child of Dorothy Luesse and Albert Berkeley of Port Chester, NY. A graduate of PortChester High School. Albert met the love of his life, Antoinette Boccarossa, in 1953 while waiting for their bus in Port Chester, NY. Excited to start their new lives together, the two were married May 18th 1958. He is survived by his loving wife Antionette Boccarossa Berkeley. Albert and Antoinette couldnt wait to start a family of their own, and their children meant the world to them. Daughters Antoinette Berkeley Gsegnet spouse [George Gsegnet], Elizabeth Berkeley Salvatore spouse [Vito Salvatore] and son Albert Henry Berkeley Jr. spouse [Carolyn Berkeley]. Though Albert loved playing music, and was an outstanding trumpet player, Alberts favorite role was that as a grandparent and father. Albert treasured his time with his grandkids and loved being their Poppie, never failing or saying no to them. Grandchildren; Michael Albert Lanzetta, Albert Henry Berkeley III, Elyssa Elizabeth Lanzetta, Zachary Rainer Gsegnet, Christopher William Berkeley, and Nicole Elizabeth Berkeley. A veteran of the US Army serving in the Korean War. Albert was passionate about his job as The Superintendent of Buildings at Westchester County; working for the company for 35 years. He was an active member of the BPOE Elks, where he had the high honor of severing as exalted Ruler, member of the Knights of Columbus, he had a love for music including Jazz and Frank Sinatra . Spent his retirement between New York with his family and Florida with friends, where he enjoyed socializing with his friends, happy hour at Bonefish Grill and traveling to the Keys. Albert touched many lives and will surely be missed. He was a caring man who loved life, loved his family first and foremost, and will be be very hard to forget. We will miss him dearly, as our hearts are so heavy with grief, but we celebrate you, your teaching and guidances as you gave us purpose and direction and love. You would always say to us, if you want something done right, do it yourself.We hope now you have found peace and looking down on all of us, because we are looking up at you. Family & Friends are invited to Cassidy-Flynn Funeral Directors 288 East Main Street Mt. Kisco, NY 10549 on Saturday October 7, 2023 from 3:00pm to 7:00pm for visitation. A Funeral Service will be take place at 6:00pm.To commemorate Albert's service and dedication to his country, the United States Army Honor Guard will be present to perform military honors.
