Concetta Cambareri Obituary

Concetta Cambareri was born in Solano, Italy to the proud parents of Annunziato and Antonia Tripodi on September 7, 1929. Concetta attended elementary school in Solano, Italy. Without much opportunity for higher education or formal training, she became an accomplished seamstress whose creativity and expertise was sought by many. Locally, she was a parishioner at St. Francis of Assisi Church, a member of the Saint Anthony/Mother Cabrini organization, a member of the Solano-Italian club as well as the Italian-American club of Northern Westchester. Concetta will always be remembered for her kindness and generosity to others, and her undying love for her family, especially her grandchildren, who will never forget "Nana's" unconditional love and exceptional cooking. She was a loyal friend who touched everyone's life with her warm smile and kinds words of hope, encouragement and faith. Personally, Concetta overcame many obstacles and persevered throughout her life. Her relentless support and love helped others to succeed as well. She will be missed by everyone. Survivors include her son Michael and daughters Antonia, Nancy and Connie, as well as her eight grandchildren. Concetta was pre-deceased by her mother Antonia, who died in Solano, Italy in 1934 and her father Annunziato, who died in Mt. Kisco, NY in 1994.
