Charles D. Williams of Somers, NY died March 13, 2019 after a lung transplant due to IPF (Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis). He was 63 years old. Mr. Williams worked as a Newspaper Press Operator for the last 45 years. He started at the Peekskill Evening star, then went to The Patent Trader, then Gannett USA Today, and North Jersey Media Group owned by Gannett. Mr. Williams was born October 26, 1955 at Lenox Hill Hospital in Manhattan to Charles and Florence E. (Becker) Williams. He graduated from Yorktown High School in 1973. He lived in Somers for the past 29 years. He is survived by his wife of 40 years Kerry (Guest) Williams, two sons Kyle Williams and Tyler Williams, one granddaughter CoraLynn Williams, his sister Diane (Williams) & husband Dan Glynn of Georgia, a brother Dennis & wife Mildred Williams of Virginia, Sister-in-law Minnette Williams of New York and many nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his parents and brother Phillip L. Williams, who also had IPF. Calling hours are 2-5 Saturday, March 30, 2019 at Cassidy- Flynn Funeral Home, 288 E. Main St., Mt.
