Cassidy-Flynn Funeral Directors is honored to serve the family of Joseph Ciccone who passed away on Sunday January 8, 2023. We offer our heartfelt condolences to his family and friends. Joseph Ciccone November 8, 1934 January 8, 2023 Joseph Ciccone was born in Solano Superiore, Reggio Calabria, Italy, to Carmelo and Maria (Legato) Ciccone on November 8, 1934. He was the oldest of 8 children. Joe moved to New York after marrying his beloved wife, Pasqualina (Bueti), on January 10, 1959. They settled in Mount Kisco and were soon joined by Joes parents and siblings. After many years of hoping for children, they had a daughter. He worked first for Readers Digest and then for the Yorktown Central School District. Joe enjoyed his work so much that he did not retire until he was almost 80. In his free time, he enjoyed gardening, puttering around the house, and watching all types of sports, but especially football and golf. He is survived by his daughter, Maria; four brothers; and many, many nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews. Family & friends are invited to Cassidy-Flynn Funeral Directors 288 East Main Street Mt. Kisco, NY 10549 on Thursday January 12, 2023 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 pm for visitation. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated for Joseph on Friday January 13, 2023 at 10:00 AM Burial will be held in St. Francis Cemetery.
