Veronica "Ronnie" Reda Obituary

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Veronica (Ronnie) Reda, 77 of Carmel, NY on May 8, 2024. She was born on December 18, 1946, in Harlem, NY to her late parents, August and Theresa (Noonan) Piragnoli. She married the love of her life, Joseph Reda on July 14, 1968 in the Bronx, NY.

Ronnie spent her career nurturing young minds as a pre-school teacher with PARC in Mahopac, NY. She approached life with a heart full of compassion, mirrored by her commitment to her students and colleagues. Her commitment for her family was unmatched; her grandchildren Rylee, Tala, and Price Durham were the lights of her life.

Ronnie loved, and was loved in return by her nieces and nephews.

She is survived by her beloved husband of 55 years, Joseph Reda; children, Jason Reda and Vanessa Durham and her son-in-law Joseph Durham; brother, Thomie Piragnoli. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother Lawrence Piragnoli and her sister Nancy Leonforte.
