Georgia Marie Schultz, age 89 of Shelby Township, formerly of Monroe, passed away May 8, 2024 at Bickford of Shelby Township Assisted Living.

Born March 10, 1935 in Monroe, Georgia was the daughter of Thomas J. and Cora (Stafford) Davis. After attending Monroe High School she married James T. Soleau in 1954. Sadly he preceded her in death in 1991. A dedicated homemaker, Georgia’s most cherished times were those spent with her family.

Georgia leaves to cherish her memory a son Gary (Linda) Soleau; 2 grandchildren Heather (Kyle) Fecteau and Bryan (Ashley) Soleau a great granddaughter Addison Fecteau and a sister Velva Ludwig. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by 2 brothers: Thomas L. Davis and Keith W. Davis as well as a great grandson Nathan Fecteau.

A celebration of Georgia’s life has been planned under the care of the Martenson Family of Funeral Homes-Allore Chapel, 203 E. Elm Ave. Friends may call Wednesday from 12noon until the funeral service at 2pm. Burial will follow next to her husband at Roselawn Memorial Park.
