   Glenn Maurice "Reese" Goins, Jr., 32, of Dawson Springs, KY, passed away on May 8, 2024, at his residence.


   He was born March 3, 1992 in Pembroke Pines, FL to Glenn Goins, Sr. and Pamela Takach Goins. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Carl "Buddy" Goins, and his maternal grandparents, Jay and Glenda Takach.


   Reese made his living as an electrician. He was an avid hunter and an outdoor enthusiast. He loved riding around in side by sides and four wheelers taking care of their property. He was a big family guy who loved and cared for every one of them. He loved being in God's country, the state of Kentucky.


   He is survived by wife, Yuraima Guevara Goins, and his canine companion, Waymore of Dawson Springs; parents, Glenn and Pamela Goins of Dawson Springs; brother, Garrett Goins of Davie, FL; grandmothers, Marilyn Durham of Madisonville and Patricia Dawson of N. Miami Beach, FL; along with numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins; and the entire Guevera Family.


   Memorial services will be held privately for the family at a later date. Services were provided to the family by Barnett-Strother Funeral Home.
