Lloyd Leroy Ogle of Miami, OK passed from this life Wednesday, May 8, 2024 at Landmark Hospital in Joplin, MO. He was 83.


Lloyd was born March 25, 1941 in Tulsa, OK to Leverne and Zelma (Wright) Ogle. He had lived in Miami over 60 years. He graduated from Central High School in Tulsa, OK in 1960 and received his Bachelor’s Degree from Oklahoma State University in Stillwater, OK. Lloyd was Director of Food Services and Auxiliary Services for N.E.O. A&M College in Miami, OK for over 40 years. He was a member of Grace Church in Miami, OK and had received outstanding Alumni in 1988 at N.E.O. A&M College. He served as a City Councilman in Miami, OK and served as Head of Deacons and Building Committee at First Assembly of God Church in Miami, OK.


He was preceded in death by his parents.


Survivors include his wife Joan (Gress) Ogle of the home, 1 son, Jeff Ogle and wife Tracy of Mannford, OK, 1 daughter, Julie Ogle of Miami, OK,1 sister, Linda Hopper of Verdigris, OK, 7 grandchidlren, Jared Ogle, Derek Fisher, Jaclyn Love, Jonnah Renfroe, Lacy Fisher, Jacob Ogle and Alexys Guerra and 6 great grandchildren, Lathan Guerra, Rhett Renfroe, Reese Renfroe, Winston Love, Amaia Guerra and Leo Guerra.


Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, May 11, 2024 at Grace Church in Miami, OK. Rev. Phil Shyers and Jim Paxson will officiate. Interment will be in G.A.R. Cemetery in Miami, OK. Jared Ogle, Jacob Ogle, Josh Love, Regan Renfroe, Ivan Guerra and Jim Paxson will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday evening at Paul Thomas Funeral Home Chapel in Miami, OK.
