Ronald Allen Obituary

Ronald Allen was born August 21, 1944, in Clay County, KY and departed this life Wednesday, May 8, 2024, at the Kenwood Health & Rehab in Richmond, at the age of 79. He was the son of the late Robert & Virgie (Eversole) Allen.

Ronald is survived by two daughters, Jennifer Lynn Allen of Crescent Springs, KY and Angela Renee Walker and her husband Robby of Owenton, KY. He was blessed with two grandsons, Owen Anthony Goetz and Nathan Michael Surgener. Other survivors include two sisters, Loretta Cole and Carolyn Sue Gibson, both of Manchester, by a brother, Raymond Allen of Tampa, Florida and by his friend, caretaker and niece Janice Coffey of Tyner.

In addition to his parents, Ronald was also preceded in death by two sisters, Norma Caudill and Pauline Shope.

Ronald was retired from General Motors and had been attending New Zion Baptist Church when he was able to attend. His passion was racing and building race cars from the frame to engine and everything in between and he truly loved it.
