Sara Marie "Nana" Hernandez age 49 of Dallas Texas was called home Friday May 3rd ,2024.


Sara was born in Midland Texas to Johnny and Maria Hernandez on October 21, 1974. She was raised in Midland Texas until she moved to Sherman Texas in 1992 with her beautiful children  Alexis and Truman Gray, later adding another beautiful daughter in 2006 Mia Isham. Sara was  known for her beautiful smile, infectious laugh, and bubbly personality. She was loved by all especially her beautiful children and grandchildren who were her greatest blessings in life. Anytime you talked with Sara she spoke so fondly of her children and grandchildren. She was so proud and they truly were her greatest accomplishment . Sara was an amazing aunt to all of her nieces and nephews that she shared special and unique bonds with as well with her sisters. 

She is survived by her children Alexis Gray of Kemp, Texas, Michael Truman Gray of Dallas, Texas, and Mia Raiden Jane Isham of Mexia ,Texas. Grandchildren Jordan, Graci, Bryson, Haisley. Her father Johnny Hernandez of Odessa Texas, her sisters Lisa Hernandez of Midland Texas, Tracy Hernandez of San Angelo Texas and Christy Carrasco of Odessa Texas. Numerous nieces and nephews.


She is preceded in death by her mother Maria Hernandez, maternal and paternal grandparents.


The viewing for Sara will be May 10, 2024 at Acres West Funeral Home from 12:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Rosary same day at 7:00 p.m. Funeral will be held at Bible Baptist Church, May 11,2024 at 4:00 p.m.


 Pallbearers will be Daniel Cruz, Willem Rossingh, Patricia Carrasco, Ryan Carrasco, Robert Rodriguez, Isaiah Urias, and Taylor Valderaz.


Her children and family would like to thank everyone for all the amazing love and support and prayers that we have received during this extremely difficult time. We would also like to thank Pastor House and the amazing Bible Baptist Church family for the unbelievable support and generosity they have shown us we are extremely thankful.
