He was preceded in death by his father William D. Marshall.

He is survived by his wife Nicolette Marshall, his mother Juanita Marshall, daughter Brandie Marshall, 3 sons: Brandon Marshall, William Marshall III, and Thomas Hopson, 5 brothers: Herbert Kelley, Myron Kelley, Fred Kelley (Cheryl), Gary Marshall (Deborah), and Juan Marshall Sr., 3 sisters: Monica Marshall, Sandra McNeal, and Angela Williams.
