Wakefield - Bonnie Wingo Jordan, 70, died July 3, 2018. A native of Portsmouth, she was predeceased by her parents, Herbert W. and Marie W. Wingo; and sister, Colleen Wingo. Bonnie retired from the Norfolk Naval Shipyard Sail Loft and was the owner/operator of Sew and Tell Embroidery. Survivors include her husband, David A. Jordan; three daughters, Kristin Everette and husband Jason, Jennifer J. Pingel and husband Joel, and Michelle Sims; two sons, Billy Jordan and wife Stephanie and Aaron Sims; step-daughter, Tammy Jordan-Tobin; step-son, Daniel Jordan; sister, Vickie Jarvis and husband Bubba; twelve grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 7, at 2 PM in Sturtevant Funeral Home, Bennetts Creek Chapel, Suffolk. Entombment will be in Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 6-8 PM. Contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
