Carl Heston Starratt Obituary

Starratt, Carl Heston – 61 of Fletchers Lake, formerly of Cambridge; We are saddened to announce that Carl passed away at home on May 3rd, 2024, after a short illness. Born in Windsor, Hants County on January 3rd, 1963, he was the son of Thaddy and Ada (Brown) Starratt both of Cambridge, Hants County.


Carl attended Hants West Rural High School and continued his education at the Windsor Regional Vocational School. He worked at IMP Aerospace as an aircraft painter for 36 years. In his spare time, Carl enjoyed fishing, spending time with friends and hanging out in his shed at his childhood home on Highway 215.


Carl is survived by his mother Ada Starratt, sisters Marlene Kamikawa and Christina (Purcy) Singer, niece Anni, nephews Michael and Matthew, great nephew Will and great niece Kinsley.


Carl is predeceased by his father Thaddy, and his grandparents.


A special thanks goes out to Carl’s work family at IMP for their kindness and support during this difficult time.


Cremation has taken place, and a private family burial will take place at a later date.
