Sara Joan Benninghoff, beloved wife of the late Herman Oscar Benninghoff II, peacefully passed away on May 5th, 2024, surrounded by the comfort of her home in Gwynedd, Pennsylvania. She will forever be cherished and remembered fondly by her adoring family.

Sara is survived by her four loving children, Robert (Jean), Lee Ann (Greg), Nina, and Keith (Lynn), who were the light of her life. Additionally, she leaves behind a legacy of love to her five cherished grandchildren, Anne, Clare, Eileen, Karis, and Tim, as well as her seven great-grandchildren, whose lives she enriched with her wisdom and kindness.

A service to honor and celebrate Sara's remarkable life will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, May 15th, at the Church of the Messiah, located at 1001 Dekalb Pike, Lower Gwynedd, Pennsylvania 19002. Visitation will precede the service, beginning at 10:00 AM, with The Reverend David Beresford presiding over the ceremony.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that you keep Joan in your thoughts and prayers.
