Maysville-Danny Ray “Strawberry” Strausbaugh, 77, passed away Monday, May 6, 2024 with his daughters by his side. He was born on April 14, 1947 to the late Cecil and Oraine (Workman) Strausbaugh.
He was a Kentucky Colonel. He was a retired electrician.
He is survived by two daughters, Melissa (Darrell) Lynch of Ewing, KY and Sherry (Jeff) Thompson of Maysville, KY; seven grandchildren, Heather (Eric) Massey, Kimberly Dailey, Kyle (Sam) Lynch, Haley Lowe, Lexie Thompson, Hunter Thompson, and Shelby Thompson; 11 great grandchildren, Logan, Sadie, Levi, Bella, and Josie Lynch, Cooper and Emma Massey, Isaac Dailey, Noah Lynch, Charlotte and Whitley Lowe; one sister, Linda (Benny) Jones; and one brother, Rick Strausbaugh.
Funeral will be 11 am Friday at Moore and Parker Funeral Home in Maysville. Burial will be at Brooksville Cemetery.
Visitation will be 5-8 pm on Thursday at the funeral home.
