Nettie Louise Dockery (Whitaker) born 09/09/1933 in Lancaster County, SC was granted her Angel wings on 05/04/2024 after a prolonged stay at Lakewood Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Plainfield, IL.


She worked for and retired from JP Morgan Chase in

1997. She resided in Romeoville, IL since 2001. She loved to work in her yard and attend to her flower beds. She was an active member of Bible Baptist Church and their Young at Heart Club in Romeoville.


She is preceded by parents Wesley and Lula (Small) Whitaker, brothers Floyd, Jack (Coleman), Robert, Donald and sister Christine (Knight).


She is survived by nephew Ronald Whitaker, his wife Sharon, niece Lillie Presley (Knight) and numerous other nieces, great nieces, great great nieces, nephews, great nephews and great-great nephews spread across many states.


Per Louise's wishes, cremation rites have been accorded, no service will be held and final urn interment will be private at Queen of Heaven Cemetery in Hillside, IL.
