Graveside services for Joe Friemel, 79, of Haynesville, LA will be held at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 8, 2024 at Gordon Cemetery with Rev. Rodney Gray officiating.  Interment will follow under the direction of Bailey Funeral Home of Haynesville, LA.

Visitation will be 12:30 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 8, 2024 at Bailey Funeral Home in Haynesville, LA

Joe was born March 7, 1945 in Augustusberg, Germany and passed away Saturday, May 4, 2024 at Heritage Nursing Center in Haynesville, LA.

He was a retired truck driver, and a veteran of the U.S. Navy.

Survivors include his wife, Lorri Friemel, one daughter, Christie Tippen and husband Bobby, one son, Josh Friemel and wife Josie, three brothers, Frank Friemel, Zig Friemel, and Fritz Friemel, seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Alfred A Friemel and Rose Mary Rickwritz Friemel, and his son, Jason Friemel.
