Luis Acosta, 64, of Bloomsburg, died Saturday, April 27, 2024 at his home.

Born March 3, 1960 in El Salvador, he was the son of the late Irma Acosta.

After his graduation from high school in Brooklyn, NY, he was a warehouse manager at Thompson Mailing, and most recently was employed at Wise Potato Chips.

Mr. Acosta enjoyed watching movies- especially westerns, doing yardwork, listening to music, and working with electronics. He was a skilled handyman.

Luis is survived by his wife of 38 years, the former Martha Mayorga; his son, Cliff Acosta of Berwick; his daughter, Jessie Acosta of Westbury, NY; five grandchildren: Isaac, Abigale, Haydee, Romeo, and Anabelle; his dog, Candy, and his cat, Sophia.

A visitation will be held Saturday, May 4, 2024 from 10:00 A.M. until the time of funeral services at 11:00 A.M. at the Mayo Funeral Home, Inc., 110 Chestnut Street, Berwick, with Sergio Luna officiating.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Mayo Funeral Home, Inc., Berwick.
