James “Bub” Rhoton, 43, passed away on April 27, 2024. “It will be Okay till it’s Not” James was born July 29, 1980, to James & Debbie Rhoton. He worked at Local 181 Operator Engineers, WB Koesters Mechanic, he was a heavy equipment operator.
James is survived by his wife of 20 years, Stephanie Rhoton; sons, Shane (Brittany) Wilhite, Keegan Rhoton & Trenton Rhoton; father figures, Alan Graper & Bruce Clark; close friend, Dalton Froman; siblings, Brian Rhoton, Misty Harrington & Kristy Busenbarrick. He is preceded in death by his mother, Debbie & 2nd father, Mark Pemberton.
Bub loved his family, loved his jeep, cooking, grilling & riding 4-wheelers. Bub loved his 4-legged daughter, Harley Mae, his baby girl. He was the hardest working man ever, always had to be doing something. He was the king of doing 100 projects at once. Bub had so many favorite sayings, man of few words, but a heart of gold. He was the go-to guy when something needed done.
