Johnny Ray Tilley, Jr. Obituary

Johnny Ray “Ho” Tilley, Jr. – age 63 of Knoxville, TN passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Monday, April 22, 2024. Johnny was born in Knoxville and graduated from Bearden High School in 1978. He later moved to Atlanta, GA where he met his wife, Kim Fife. He worked many years in real estate and later returned to Knoxville. Johnny showed his love for the Volunteers by faithfully wearing his vast collection of orange and white. After coming close a few times, he was very proud when he accomplished bowling a perfect 300 game. With a knack for humor, he was a quick-witted soul who brought laughter wherever he went. May his jokes continue to echo in our hearts as we remember the joy he brought to our lives.

Preceded in death by father, Johnny Ray Tilley, Sr.; and step-father, George E. Long.

Survived by wife of 28 years, Kim Fife Tilley; mother, Betty Kanipe Long; step-mother, Pat Tilley; sisters, Angie (Dave) Campeau, and Melanie (James) Likos; brother, Ryan (Maxey) Long; step-sisters, Janice (Jeff) Long, and Cindy (Mike) Peacock; special cousin, Tim Tilley; sister-in-law, Cheryl Fife Simmons; and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
