Louise Boone Parrish Obituary

Louise Boone Parrish, 85, of Westminster, passed away on Wednesday, April 17, 2024, at her home, surrounded by her loving family.

Louise was born in Oak Orchard, Maryland to the late Chester Lee and Hannah Mae Nusbaum Boone. She was a graduate of Westminster High School in the class of 1957.  She was the cherished wife of the late Walter Junior Parrish who predeceased her in 2007.

Louise is survived by four children, Allen Lee Parrish; Bruce Edward Parrish; Dale Albert Parrish; and Denise Lynn Wolbert; two grandchildren, Amanda and Ethan Wolbert; and sister, Charlotte Knouse. She also leaves behind many loving nieces, nephews and other family members. Louise was predeceased by a son, John Roger Parrish, her brothers, Roger, Carroll, Francis, and John "Grayson", and her sisters, Gloria (Williams) and Miriam (Graham).

Louise loved being a Mom and a Granny – always caring for others. She was an avid gardener and enjoyed working outside in her flower and vegetable gardens. She loved roses, hummingbirds, and reading. She was known for having the largest sweet tooth ever – she loved anything sweet.
