Lewis McCorkle Corbitt affectionately known as “Lil Lewis” was born August 31, 1986 in Aiken, S.C. to Lewis and Elizabeth McCorkle On April 17, 2024 the Lord called Lewis home to rest, Lewis was educated in Aiken County Public School System and employed by the City of Aiken sc He accepted Christ at an early age. He was known for his love he had for his family, cooking and music. Lewts was well known in his community. He was a huge fan of the New York Jets and loved caring for his fur babies; Ace, Cinnamon and Tucker. Lewis was preceded in death by his sister; Tyra Cherelle Corbitt. He leaves to cherish his memories: his parents; Lewis and Elizabeth McCorkle, brothers; Ronald Ashley, Marcus (Kelley) Key, great aunt, Rose L. Stallings, aunts, Irene Freeman, Dorene M. Gaines, Florence Wright, Emma Corbitt, Linda Corbitt, Leola Corbitt, Mary Lewis, Betty (Jimmy) Ashley and Jackeline Stallings, uncles; Bernard (the late Willie Jean) Bates, JP. (Johnnie Mae) McCorkle, Willie McCorkle, Edgar (Carolyn) Corbitt and Freddie Lewis, nieces and nephews, Kaylah Key, Sharlette Kev, Carter Key, Marcus Key, Jr., Zayvier Murray, Eryss Brown and Elias Brown, a host of other relatives and friends.
