Kenneth Eugene Strawser, age 75, of Southgate, passed away on Friday, April 12, 2024 at Henry Ford Wyandotte Hospital.
Born on November 22, 1948 in Carleton, he was the son of Walter and Gladys (Morgan) Strawser. On August 10, 1988 he married Joan LaCroix at Monroe City Hall.
He was employed with US Steel as an electrician for over 40 years, until retiring in 2011.
He enjoyed riding motorcycles, tending to his flower and vegetable gardens, walking his dog through the neighborhood (Spotty, Molly, Rockee, and Archie), making the best PB&J sandwiches, telling the most awful/funny dad jokes and usually laughing about them so hard that he turned red. He also enjoyed spending time with his wife, children, and grandchildren, reminiscing and making them laugh.
Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Larry Strawser.
He is survived by his wife, Joan Strawser, daughters, Cynthia Strawser and Nancy Crist, many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and brother, Dennis (Shannon) Strawser.
A Memorial Gathering will be held at Bobcean Funeral Home, Carleton Chapel, on Saturday, April 27, 2024 from 12:00 pm to 4 pm.
