Alva John Robbins Jr., age 61, of Miller, Missouri, passed away at 9:05 p.m. on Saturday, April 13, 2024, at his home. He was born September 27, 1962, in St. Louis, Missouri, the son of John Bernard and Alice Elizabeth (Smith) Robbins.

AJ graduated with an associate degree from Electronics Institute in Kansas City, Missouri. He was a Commercial Lighting Technician with Reliable Relamping in Saranac, Michigan. He was a beloved husband and father and loved to work on old cars.

On June 29, 2002, he married Tammy Marie Lawson, in Eureka Springs, Arkansas.

AJ is survived by his wife of 21 years, Tammy; one son, Alva John Robbins II, of Springfield, Missouri; one brother, Lee Robbins and his wife, Gina, and one sister, Esther Zeman and her husband, Andy, all of Joplin, Missouri.

AJ was preceded in death by his parents, John and Alice and one sister, Ruth Ann Robbins.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Morris-Leiman-Mosher Funeral Home, in Miller, Missouri.
