Elwood Jerry Christmas, 86, passed away on April 11, 2024, at his residence. He was born on May 23, 1937 to the late Carlton & Viola Christmas. Elwood is preceded in death by his parents; siblings, William Christmas, Joyce Christmas, Barbara Lipham & his companion of 30+ years, Brenda Morris.


Elwood is survived by his siblings, Norma (Pat) Christmas, Elsworth (Nancy) Christmas & Oren Christmas; step-children, Misty (Jeramy) Horrom & Dietra (Rob) Fischer; step-grandchildren, Megan (Michael) Duncan, Shawn Lansdale & Kirstin (Trent) Bowman; nieces & nephews.


Elwood was a life member & on board of Directors at the Museum of Coal Industry. He was a life member, past president, on the board of directors of the Antique Steam & Gas Engine Club Inc and ran the Flea Market. He was in charge of the World Beagle Run at Thresherman’s Park for 23 years. He also was a member of Boonville JayCees.


Visitation 4- 7 p.m. Monday, April 15, 2024, at BRADLEY’S COLONIAL CHAPEL, 1005 E. Main St. Boonville, IN. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Museum of Coal or The Antique Steam & Gas Engine Club at Thresherman’s Park. Condolences to the family can be sent to www.bradleyscc.com
