Gerald (Jerry) Bogan, of Lynnville, IN, passed away on April 9, 2024, at Deaconess Gateway Hospital. He was 80 years old. Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, his brothers, Bob, Bill, Dick, Don and sister, Joyce.

He was born in 1943 to Wilburn and Hallie Bogan. Jerry met the love of his life, Ann Orth at the bowling alley in Boonville and they were married in 1965. They had 4 children, Lori (Donnie) Leonhardt, Lesley (Joe) McBride, Patrick (Misty) Bogan and Jody (Larry) Wira; grandchildren, Jesse (fiancée Char), Aaron (Rachel) McBride, Alisha (Tyler) Buckman, Whitney (Ethan) Black, Emily Bogan, Issac Leonhardt, Hallie Bailey & Maddie Smith; great-grandchildren, Kinsley McBride, Wyatt McBride & Lola Lampton.

There wasn’t a tractor Jerry couldn’t fix, or any kind of motor he couldn’t get running. Jerry was always happy to help anyone, whether it be building a barn, or painting cars. Ford Tractors were his favorite tractor, he could restore one from the ground up, from being a rust bucket to a sharp antique Ford with a rebuilt motor. Jerry’s favorite past time was spent with Ann, visiting family and going to grandkids ball games. The Christmas get togethers were a good time for Jerry. He was a wonderful husband, dad, grandpa, and papaw. He will be missed by a great many people and his family.

Funeral Service 2 p.m. Friday, April 12, 2024, at PEMBERTON -BRADLEY FUNERAL HOME. 301 N. Main St. Lynnville, IN. Visitation 11 a.m. until service time. Interment Lynnville Cemetery.
