Former husband of Beth Klatt and the late Karen Prins; dear son of the late Clarence Sr. and Nell Laning and step-son of Jennie Laning; fond brother of Nelva (Jim) Heinking, Ken (Trudy) Laning, David (the late Kim) Laning, the late Joanne (the late Bernie) Huizenga, and the late Sharon (the late Harvey) Weiss; uncle of many nieces and nephews.
Visitation Friday, June 22nd, from 5PM until time of service at 7PM at Faith Christian Reformed Church, 1070 S. Prospect Ave., Elmhurst. Interment Private. Memorials to Trinity Christian College, Orland Christian Reformed Church, or Timothy Christian Schools are appreciated. Funeral info: 630-932-1500.
