Duane Claude Ball of Macomb passed away Monday, June 18, 2018, at the age of 85. Duane was born on May 10, 1933 in Richmond. He was one of three children born to Wilburt and Edith (Lewis) Ball. Duane served in the United States Army and was an EMT. He eventually retired from Ford Motor Company. Duane enjoyed being outdoors whether that was for golfing, fishing, or snowmobiling. He maintained trails for the Ogemaw County Snowmobile Club. Duane is survived by his children Stephen (Lisa) and Darrell (Lori); grandchildren Darcie, Kaley, Dayna, Austin, and Kristina (Matthew) Flemming; great-grandson Easton; siblings Keith Ball and Shirley Bowen. He was predeceased by his wife Kathleen Ball and parents. Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 21, 2018 from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with 7:00 p.m. Rosary at Tiffany, Young and Hauss Funeral Home 73919 S. Fulton, Armada. Duane will be instate at 10:30 a.m. followed by Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, June 22, 2018 at St. Mary Mystical Rose Parish 24040 Armada Ridge Rd, Armada. Burial will take place at West Berlin Cemetery, Allenton. Memorial tributes would be appreciated to Hospice of donor’s choice or VA.
