Douglas George Beeching, 67, a resident of Ocala FL., born in Petersburg, Virginia, passed away on January 10th, 2015. Douglas moved to Ocala, FL from Brownsville, Texas in 2006. Mr. Beeching was a Veteran in the Air force. He was a truck driver for 30 years. Throughout his life he was of Baptist Faith. In his spare time he enjoyed reading and photography. Primarily he enjoyed his family and friends. Douglas is survived by his wife, Flora Margaret Smith, Ocala; son, James Beeching (Theresa), Brookfield, N.Y.; daughters, Sarah Miles (Jason), Denton, TX. , Connie McCarthy (Patrick), New Windsor, N.Y.; son-in-law Robert Schworm (Anna), Edmeston, N.Y.; step-children, Robert Albair (Michelle), Salinans, Ca., Annette Ratliff (Kris), San Antonio, TX., David Funnell (Pauline), Scotland, Catherine Funnell, Scotland; grandchildren, Kaylee Schworm, Brianna Schworm, Heather McCoy, Alyssa McCoy, Cody Beeching, Derek Beeching, Shannon McCarthy, Patrick McCarthy, Jaxon Miles, Lillan Miles, Rebecca Funnell Wayne Lyon and April Albair. He was predeceased by parents; Joseph Robert Beeching and Hazel Beeching; daughter, Christy Schworm; step-daughter , April Albair; brother; James Beeching; sister, Joann Gould . Committal Services will be held Saturday July 18th, 2015 at 2:00 PM at Edmeston Union Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations should be made to Hospice of Marion County P.O box 4860 Ocala FL 34478-4860. Local arrangements are under the guidance of the Houk-Johnston-Terry Funeral Home, Edmeston.
