On March 31, 2024, Kathleen Snider peacefully shuffled off this mortal stage, compassionately passing to join her husband, soulmate, and eternal dance partner, Norman Snider, who predeceased her by ten years. Friends, family, and dogs of all sizes will dearly miss Kathleen. Her dry wit (almost as dry as her martini), keen mind (as her bridge partners can attest), and stellar dance moves (proudly on display with the Desert Dancers) brought joy to all who encountered Kathleen. This includes the CIA, where Kathleen was employed after graduating from Allegheny University. Kathleen, however, turned down a posting to Africa and relocated across the country to the Los Angeles area. While working in the LAPD Parole Office, Kathleen met her soulmate, fellow parole officer Norman Snider. Kathleen and Norman married in 1969 and worked together until they retired from LAPD Parole. Retirement took Kathleen and Norman first to Orcas Island, Washington, before they found their forever home in Westbrook Village in 1998. Kathleen made the most of her all-too-short 82 years on this planet; she truly knew how to live the good life, on her terms. She is survived by numerous family and friends.
