June Kay Massey

June Kay Massey, age 95, passed away on Tuesday, June 12, 2018 at The Brook in West Branch surrounded by family. June was born on June 11, 1923 in St. Helen, MI to Joseph and Irene (Lemish) Romancky. She retired from AC Spark Plug in Flint, MI, after working there for 20 years. She was a volunteer at the Tolfree Hospital and West Branch Regional Medical Center for over 16 years. She was a life member of the Eastern Star and enjoyed sewing, plants, and spending time with her family. June is survived by her son, James (Norma) Massey of West Branch; sisters, Ruth (Jack) Myers of West Branch and Ellen McKay of Vassar, MI; and many nieces, nephews and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, George; son, Ronald; brothers, John, George, Pete, Albert, Bobby and Joe; and sisters, Mary, Ann, and Dorothy. Visitation at Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in West Branch will begin on Friday, June 15, 2018 from 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a Rosary at 4:00 p.m. The funeral service will be at the funeral home on Saturday, June 16, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. with visitation starting at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Brookside Cemetery in West Branch.
