Crey Trowell Sr. Obituary

Mr. Crey Trowell Sr., graduated from Aiken High School in 1976. He is the owner of Trowell’s Contracting, Inc. He has been in the concrete business for over 40 years. He loved golfing, jet skiing, and driving his big, black jacked-up truck. He called himself “D Man” and had a tag made for his truck that said “I AM D MAN”. He devoted his life to serving God and made Him first in his life. He loved teaching, preaching, and helping others to know God. Crey departed his life peacefully at home. He leaves to cherish many memories: his loving and devoted wife, Novie Trowell. To this union two children were born: Crey Trowell, Jr. (Kristin) and Kalisha Irene Trowell. He had seven grandchildren, Mylah Trowell, Creysin Trowell, Mari Anna Trowell, Gianna Brock, Avery Thomas, Isaiah Thomas, and Elijah Thomas. Proceeding him in death were four brothers: Dr. Jack Trowell, Franklin Trowell, Lee Trowell, and Lafayette Trowell. Surviving are four sisters: Frances Gomillon, Irene Trowell-Harris, Mae Brown, and Sherry Diane Perry (Willie).
