James E. Powell, Jr.

James Edward Powell, Jr, 73, passed away on April 2, 2024 at his residence. He is preceded in death by his mother, Alice Wittenberg.

James is survived by his wife of 54 years, Antonia Powell; children, Lisa (Randy) Treat, James E. (Melody) Powell III, Tracey (Johnnie) Powell and William Powell; grandchildren, Kenny, Amanda, Megan, James IV, Randy and Logan; great-grandchildren, Wyatt, Bentley, Liam, Austin, Calvin, Harper, Bristol and James V; siblings, Sandy, Sharon, Sheila and Jamie.

James was a truck driver for over 20 years, he loved to go fishing on the river, racing, spending time with family especially with the grandchildren. Although James did not serve in the U.S. military, he was a very patriotic American and was greatly appreciative of the military, police and firefighters.
