Maggie and Dallas Harter passed away on March 24, 2024.

Maggie Harter was a loving mother and caring friend to many. She was raised by Harry Harter and Susan Harter in Illinois along side, surviving brother, Chris Harter. Maggie was a devoted, selfless mother to her three children Alyssa, age 20, Bristol, age 14, and Dallas, deceased at 6. She was a hard worker and would help others as much as she could. Without letting people know it, she had a big heart. She wouldn’t let anyone go without and would make it known for anyone she supported. Maggie was a simple woman who wanted very little for herself, but wanted everything for those she loved. She will be greatly missed, but forever loved.

Dallas Harter was raised by his recently deceased mother Maggie Harter and his surviving sisters Alyssa and Bristol Harter in West Virginia. Dallas also left behind his grandparents, Harry and Susan Harter, and his uncle, Chris Harter. Dallas Harter was a very wild spirit, who never failed to make everyone around him smile. He showed great love for his family and friends. Dallas had never met a stranger he didn’t like. Many people loved him and treated him as family. He would always try to cheer others up and showed he cared the best way he could. He was a sweet child who always saw the good in people. Dallas did his best to show people he enjoyed their companionship. Although his life was tragically cut short, it was full of love, laughter, and joy. He will never be forgotten and forever missed.

Memorial services will be held Sunday June 16, 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Wallace & Wallace Funeral Home in Lewisburg with Pastor Freddie Bostic officiating.

The family will receive family and friends from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM at the funeral home on Sunday June 16, 2024.
