Frieda Braun 85, of Indianapolis passed away Saturday, November 1. She was born May 11, 1929 in Tariverde, Romania to Albert and Sofia (Freimuth) Hannemann. Frieda became a proud citizen in 1959. She worked at Franklin Central High School for 20 years. She was preceded in death by her parents and sister: Hilda Sanders. Surviving loved ones include her husband: Rudolf Braun, sons: Gerhard (Joan), Manfred (Laura), Edmund (Stacy), and Michael, daughter: Lisa Baxter (Edward), brother: Manfred Hannemann, and sister: Elsa Mankus, four grandchildren and one great grandchild. A funeral service will be conducted 11:00 A.M. on Thursday, November 6 at St. Johns Lutheran Church 6630 Southeastern Ave., Indianapolis, 46203 . Friends may call Wednesday from 4 to 8 P.M. at Wilson St. Pierre Funeral Service and Crematory Stirling - Gerber Chapel, 5950 E Thompson Rd.
