Garry Keith Penny
October 18, 1963- March 23, 2024
Passed away on Saturday, March 23, 2024 at James Paton Memorial Hospital after a short battle with cancer, Garry Penny of Happy Adventure.
Predeceased by his parents George & Joyce Penny, parents in law Jim & Winnie Warren, niece Lana Penny, Grandparents, Aunts and Uncles.
Leaving to mourn his wife of 34 years Lisa. Brothers Kevin Penny, Greg Penny, Sisters Karen Penny (Bill), Sharon Barrett (Bob), Sister and Brother in law Tina & Tom Watts.
Aunt Millicent Oldford, Aunt Helen Warren, Uncle Albert and Aunt Gloria Babstock.
As well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Garry was an owner/operator of tractor trailers for many years. First with McNeils Transport, then Donnelly Farms and finally Coast to Coast Transport.
He sold his truck in 2020 and worked for Hickey’s Transport. He put many kilometers under his belt all over Canada and the U.S.
It wasn’t always easy ‘on the road’ but he made many good friends along the way.
A big thank you to the staff of the Medical Unit at JPMH Gander and the staff of 4 North A and Hematology/Oncology at the Health Science Center St. John’s.
Visitation will take place at Oram's Funeral Home Eastport on Tuesday, March 26, 2024 from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm, and on Wednesday, March 27, 2024 from 10-11:30 am.
Funeral service will held at Holy Cross Anglican Church Eastport on Wednesday, March 27, 2024 at 2 pm.
