THURLOW, Thomas George

On Wednesday, March 20, 2024 at the NHS - St. Catharines Site, Tom Thurlow in his 64th year lost his battle with cancer. Survived by his two sons Steven and Jordan. Good brother to Bill Thurlow, sister-in-law Sylvia Thurlow, Tina Turenne (Mike), Mandy Weston, Brenda Thibodeau (Leo). Lovingly remembered by many nieces and nephews, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, cousins, aunts and uncles. Tom will be missed by many others who called him family or a friend. Predeceased by his wife Mary Thurlow (Clutterbuck), his parents Bill and Betty Thurlow (Bowering), his parents-in-law Leo and Helen Clutterbuck (Phelan), his brother Mike Thurlow,

his brothers-in-law Joe Clutterbuck and Harry Clutterbuck and nephew Simon Clutterbuck.

Tom was a member of the Canadian Armed Forces with the 770 Communication Research Squadron, specializing as a Russian Linguist.

In honouring Tom’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Future water scattering ceremony will be held a later date. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Alfred Roman Catholic Church, 272 Vine St, St. Catharines, Ontario, on Saturday, April 13, 2024 at 12 p.m. Reception will follow in the Mary Martha Room.
