Charles S. "Chuck" Miller, Jr.

Funeral services for Charles "Chuck" Miller, Jr. of Cordele will be held in the chapel of Rainey Family Funeral Services at 2:00 p.m. Sunday,August 31, 2014. Burial will follow in Sunnyside Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Saturday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Chuck, 56, passed away Friday as the result of injuries that he received in a vehicle accident. He was born in Americus and was the son of Charles S. Miller, Sr. and Joyce Thompson Miller. He was the owner/manager of Miller Farms and was an active member of Cordele First United Methodist Church and the Patsy Stewart Sunday School Class. Mr. Miller is survived by his wife, Cindy Sledge Miller of Cordele; a daughter, Rachel Miller of Athens; his parents, Charles and Joyce Miller of Cordele; and two sisters and their husbands, Melanie and Cliff Harpe of Cordele and Pam and Ed Holt of Goldsboro, NC.
