It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Gerald Hunter on March 13th, 2024 at the age of 93.

Predeceased by his wife Kathleen, his daughter Eileen; parents John and Mary Julia Hunter; parent in-laws William and Lizzie Mary Brown; sister in-law Marie Hunter (Theo), brother in-law Jack A Brown (Martha).

Leaving to mourn with fond loving memories his son Brian (Beverly), grandchildren Terri (Stewart), Darryl (Jill), great grandchildren William and Madison; many nieces, nephews, cousins and a large circle of friends.

Visitation will take place at Oram's Funeral Home in Eastport on Friday, March 15th 2-4pm and 7-9pm.

A celebration of life will be held at St. Stephen's Anglican Church in Salvage on Saturday, March 16th at 2pm.

Interment will follow the celebration of life at St. Stephen's Anglican cemetery in Salvage.

Thank you to all the medical staff (orthopedic surgery unit) at James Paton Memorial Hospital for the compassionate care and comfort they provided to Gerald and our family during this difficult time.
