Louella Hazel (Pierce) (Bartoszek) Berger12/21/1917 - 05/07/2017Louella was born on December 21, 1917 to Daniel J. and Grace Inez Pierce. Preceded in death by her parents, first husband John Andrew Bartoszek, and second husband John Stanley Berger; children, George Stanley and John Phillip. She is survived by her children Judith (Sam) Calderone of Albion, Mary Ellen (Ted Paddock) Berger of Eaton Rapids, Michael Bartoszek of Jackson, Donald (Sharon) Bartoszek of Florida, Robert (Tina) Berger of Grand Ledge, Janice (Larry) Lestyany of Springport, Rosann Berger of Dexter, Joanne (Timothy) Magalis of Virginia, LuAnn (Michael) Prillaman of Arizona, Thomas (Beth) Berger of Florida; 25 grandchildren and several great and great-great grandchildren. Along with caring of her many children, she spent 40 years working as an experienced silk finisher and seamstress at Brail Dry Cleaners. She also was an administrative assistant at United Way in Jackson as well as numerous years of volunteering at Henry Ford Allegiance Hospital. She was a member of St. Joseph parish for many years and also was an active member of the Guild/St. Anthony Circle. Louella's family will receive friends on Tuesday, May 09, 2017 from 6-8 PM at Lauer Family Funeral Home in Jackson and on Wednesday, May 10, 2017 at St. Joseph Oratory from 9:30 - 10:30 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 AM.
