Michael “Mike” Bruner Sr., 68, of Callaway, went to be with the Lord Wednesday, May 16, 2018. He was born August 8, 1949 in Bay County. Mike enjoyed fishing, hunting, and being outdoors. He loved being a prankster and putting a smile on someone’s face. But more than anything he loved his family. Mike was a Christian man who was dedicated to the Lord and kept a room he called The Holy Room. He was preceded in death by his parents, Melvin and Polly Bruner; and sister, Livy Ann Johnson. Those left to cherish his memory include his wife of 47 years, Kathy Bruner; daughters, Cindy Clinkscales (Scott) of Birmingham, AL and Michelle Bruner of Panama City; son, Michael E. Bruner Jr. of Panama City; grandchildren, Daniel and Christopher Clinkscales, Kathryn Bruner, and Brandon Bruner (Esther) of Panama City; great grandchildren, Isabella Jacobs and Gabriel Bruner; and sisters, Maxine Head Roebuck and Wanda Wilder. Funeral services will begin 2 P.M., Monday, May 21, 2018 at Heritage Funeral Home with Pastor Tim Stephens officiating. The family will receive friends beginning 1 P.M. prior to the service. Interment will follow at Evergreen Memorial Gardens.
