Peggy Lee Evans, 83 ,of Dyersburg, Tennessee, died on Wednesday, February 28, 2024, at her residence in Dyersburg, Tennessee.

Born Sunday, December 15, 1940, in Dyersburg, Tennessee, she was the daughter of the late James Moore and the late Gertie Lee Davis  Moore. Mrs. Evans was a home-maker.

Cremation services for Mrs. Evans are under the direction of Johnson-Williams Funeral Home.

She leaves to cherish her memory, three daughters, Tammy Weeks (Ricky) of Dyersburg, Tennessee, Paula Roberts (Dan) of Dyersburg, Tennessee and Donna Kay Evans of Dyersburg, Tennessee; one brother, Charles Moore of Newbern, Tennessee and she was "Geggy" to her two grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Talmadge Evans; one brother,Jerry Moore and one sister, Shirley Moore.
