As we gather today in solemn joy to celebrate the homegoing of a precious jewel, Quincella Ridgeway, who was called to her eternal rest on the 24th of February, 2024. Born on the 27th of October, 1949, in the town of Poplar Bluff, Missouri, Quincella was a beacon of light and love throughout her 74 years on this earthly plane.

Quincella was the cherished daughter of the late Rev. Frank and Callie Rice Earl, who instilled in her a spirit of faith and resilience. She was the devoted wife of the late Percy Ridgeway and the loving mother to Jeffrey Earl (Mary Collins), and Pam (Moses) Damulira. Her life was a testament to the power of love and the strength of family. 

In Louisville, Kentucky, Quincella was called to glory, leaving behind a legacy of warmth and compassion. She was a sister to many, both in blood and in bond, including her brothers Charles, with his wife Cherise, of Denver, Colorado, and the late Obie Earl, Frank Earl, Jr., Calvin Earl, and Samuel Earl. Her sisters, Erma Jean Wise and Mary Jean Pitts of St. Louis, Missouri, Milliah, alongside her husband Ralph Marant of Denver, Colorado, and Priscilla, with her husband Charles Newbern, wlll hold her memory dear. Quincella was also a proud aunt, cousin, and friend to countless souls who were blessed by her presence. 

Quincella's educational journey culminated in her earning a GED, a milestone that paved the way for her dedicated service as a Certified Nursing Assistant. Her hands were God's instruments, providing care and comfort to those in need. Her work was not just a job but a ministry, where she touched lives with her faithfilled spirit and courageous heart. 

Her life was a living sermon, preaching the gospel of love through her actions. Quincella was a spirited woman, whose laughter and joy were as infectious as her unwavering faith. She was a pillar in her community, involved in various associations where she served with humility and grace. 

Quincella's legacy continues through her beloved progeny: four grandchildren and one great-grandchild, each a shining star in the firmament of her life's work. They will carry forward her spirit, her teachings, and her love, ensuring that her light will never dim.

As we bid farewell to Quincella Ridgeway, let us not mourn as those without hope. Instead, let us rejoice in the knowledge that she has been welcomed into the loving arms of our Savior. She has fought the good fight, she has finished the race, and she has kept the faith. Now, there is laid up for her a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, shall give her on that day. 

We commend our sister to the Almighty, knowing that her journey here was but a prelude to the glory that awaits. May her soul rest in eternal peace, and may her memory be a blessing to all who knew her. Amen. 

Visitation and funeral services for Mrs. Qulncella Ridgeway will be conducted on Monday, March 4th , 2024 with visitation starting at 11 a.m. and going until time of Funeral Service at 12 p.m. at the Campbell-Fisher Funeral Home Chapel located at 491 West Main Street, Lebanon, Kentucky with burial to follow at 1:30 p.m.in the Lebanon National Cemetery. Bishop Ronnie Webb will officiate the service. Campbell-Fisher funeral home is in charge of arrangements.
